Welcome to our page dedicated to saving turtles and other sea creatures! I am a senior in high school who is very passionate about this cause, for it affects both our lives, and the lives of innocent aquatic animals.
My favorite hobbies include playing water polo, swimming, and surfing. Because most of my leisure time is either spent in the pool or the beach, I feel more inclined to reduce pollutants in the ocean.
In the future, I plan to study biology, and more specifically, marine biology. My goal is to help save as many ocean lives as possible by taking action, while bringing light upon the dangers of ocean pollution.
Hi I’m Lily, a senior in highschool. I enjoy singing, reading, and listening to music. I love learning about all types of biology, including marine biology.
While commuting to Girls Who Code, I saw someone through trash out of their car on the freeway. I was shocked that someone would so openely litter. So for the project I wanted to address this issue by educating poeple how littering and other forms of pollution affect marine ecosystems. I also wanted to link people to ways to help through donation and volunteer opportunities.
